Vegan ‘Cheese’ Sauce

We have made many alternative cheese sauces using fake vegan cheese, but we try to stay away from packaged foods and opt for whole foods as much as possible.
Many of the vegan or vegetarian alternatives are not very beneficial for you nutritionally, so it's best to not rely on man made products as much as possible.
So we were really excited to experiment and Luke came up with this. And now I use it ALOT!
The kids love it, so that is a mega winner in our house.
This is such a simple and easy recipe, it is so much quicker than making the real thing.

This cheese sause is so creamy, I reckon you could give this to a non vegan and they wouldn't know the difference!
I would love to hear how you get on. Enjoy

  1. Howdy! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I genuinely enjoy reading your blog posts. Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that go over the same subjects? Thanks a lot!

  2. Thanks Joost. All your blog-stuff is really helpful and clearly written. Much appreciated how much free material and advise you put out
I prefer the normal WordPress comment feature. I would like to look at what your extension and the thank you page looks like. Therefore TEST 🙂

  3. If Google doesn’t use them (comments) to rank that page, so why comments system load-time added to page’s load-time to judge page-speed?
Joost de Valk (Yoast), you’ve been a great help for all of my websites and blogs. SEO was never so easy for me until I started using your plugin.

  4. I want to ask that which comment system is best for SEO? as Facebook is becoming just like Google and their restrictions are penalizing our websites in best ways.Shall I start placing Disqus comments section or WP original comments are better for SEO?
Also, if there’s a better solution then please help me out. My websites are usually based on E-commerce and Blogs so which of the comments system is most beneficial for our websites?

  5. comments hurt SEO if they never make it live? My comment system (which I think it just the standard WP system) flags them for me, and keeps them on the backend of the site until I either approve or mark them
Thanks for writing such a nice article.I have been using default comment system and if there are many comments on a particular post it slows down the page.

  6. Disqus will probably slow down the page too, as Joost explained above. So I don’t think that that would help you. It has a lot of other nice features though, so that could be a reason to switch, but don’t switch because of page speed/SEO! Perhaps you could try Yoast Comment Hacks, and see if that works for you?
But I’m facing issues with Native comment system of WordPress as I’m getting 1000s of comments every week and that highly impacts on database server. So I switched to Disqus and it worked well. But now from few months comments are not getting indexed. Any suggestions ?
