Vegan ‘Cheese’ Sauce

We have made many alternative cheese sauces using fake vegan cheese, but we try to stay away from packaged foods and opt for whole foods as much as possible.
Many of the vegan or vegetarian alternatives are not very beneficial for you nutritionally, so it's best to not rely on man made products as much as possible.
So we were really excited to experiment and Luke came up with this. And now I use it ALOT!
The kids love it, so that is a mega winner in our house.
This is such a simple and easy recipe, it is so much quicker than making the real thing.

This cheese sause is so creamy, I reckon you could give this to a non vegan and they wouldn't know the difference!

 2.50 Cashew Nuts
 1 cup Nutritional Yeast Flakes
 2 tsp Mustard or Powder
 Salt
 3 Boiled Hot Water

Put all the ingredients into a Vitamix, or power speed blender.Leave for 5mins for Cashews to soften before blending until smooth.

 1 cup Nutritional Yeast Flakes
 2 tsp Mustard or Powder
 Salt
 3 Boiled Hot Water
